There's 104 Days of...

Summer Vacation and school comes along just to end it, so the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it. - Phineas & Ferb

Here's how we decided to spend it:

- We did the reading program at the library. Received a call just yesterday that another prize awaits Ms. Vivian. She has already had her name drawn once and both girls have received a myriad of prizes through the program.

- We bowled with friends

- We went to Disneyland

- We swam

- We hit the beach a few times
- The girls had their first sleepover at Papa & Granny Dee's

- We went to Seascape Kids Fun

- We made some crafts (making a house out of a box was one of the kids favorites)

- We hit up the dollar movies

- We went to multiple splash parks with friends

- The girls went on a hike with their Papa & Granny Dee

- We played with sidewalk chalk, bubbles and play dough right outside our door

- We watched fireworks

- We went to a professional baseball game

- We went to the county fair

- We served others

- We played dress up

- We got to visit with friends and family from long distances

- We had a TON of play dates with amazing friends

- We attended birthday parties and baby showers

- We ate lots and lots of unhealthy food

- Abby got to attend Vacation Bible School with some of her previous preschool friends

- The girls got to jump in bounce houses

- We got to look at model homes (a favorite past-time of ours)
- We watched every episode of Phineas & Ferb, I'm sure

AND one of the MOST exciting things...

- We found out we're having a baby boy to make next Summer that much more eventful!

Unfortunately, in all the excitement, I didn't get very many pictures along the way. Here are some that I did get though -

 

 

A new adventure awaits us as Abby starts Kindergarten on Monday and Vivian starts Preschool on Thursday.  Hope this Summer treating you all as well as it did us!
