I see how the working Mom struggles when dropping off their kid. They're torn about saying goodbye to their baby and they're stressed about being late for work. The working Mom has a tough role. I don't envy it, but I do respect it's challenges.
Walking back to my home, it gives me the chance to think of other blessings that being at home affords me. I'm so excited that I'm able to volunteer in Abby's classroom. It hasn't begun just yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I realize now what a blessing it is that I did NOT get into that college course I was trying to take. This extra time allows me to play a more active part in Abby's schooling.
Overall, I just feel so blessed to be a Mom to such wonderful girls. They come with their challenges, as does any child, but they are such a blessing in my life. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't marvel at their beauty both inside and out.
What a gift it is to be at home with my little ones. It's come with its fair share of financial burdens, but its certainly worth it for me!
